  I'm Chris, the creator of AcornChat.

  AcornChat exists because I wanted a live chat widget on my website that went right to my Slack workspace and (most importantly), if I wasn't online at the time, I wanted it to show an email capture widget instead.

  There are a lot of solutions on the market that can do that, but they are often really expensive, or overly complex - I just wanted the chat widget!

  So I built AcornChat to solve that need.
